You can learn a lot from the “Mummy”

The mother is not for the faint of heart. It can be scary, terrifying and truly bleeds. This is why have help from other moms can be like a life saver.

This week, we’ll share some tips and tricks that we’ve found to work for us, in the hope that maybe they will help you keep your sanity. At least through Trick or Treat!

Bethany:

Before having children of my own, I was a caregiver for years. I am currently taking a few tricks along the way. Now that I have to baby No. 2 of my own, I also have some knowledge about what works (and what not) to me the first time around.

Ziploc bags: they are items that are really important to me. They work very not only hold things General, but also to contain items of gross sometimes “blew” diaper, “yucky” stomach (such as a family we call them) chaos, or a number of similar situations.

I also want to keep clothes clean in a gallon Ziploc bag our diaper size or even the back of my car. That way I can take a nice clean clothes when necessary and throw in the nastiness dealt with later. Trust me, this has been a lifesaver for too many times to count!

Cozies inside car: talk about the clothes, I also want to keep the jacket (or blanket for the baby) for each family member in the car at all times. It seems that we never know just when or if we’re going to need them, so it’s easier if they’re always. My husband always thought it was “stupid”, but has since come to appreciate (and even rely on) a pile of my jacket.

Pre-emptive Packing: even with one child, leaving the House can be a stressful time consuming, which stimulates the annoying if you have to not only get to say the kids dressed, changed or toilet-ed, hair and teeth brushed, eating, blah blah blah … but also packs a bag for them.
