Japan auto output still slowed down from Thai floods

TOKYO

Honda Motor Co. said Friday it remains unclear when the manufacturer auto Thai floods which have an annual capacity of 240,000 vehicles may restart production. Mobil said the reduction of production will continue in Japan, North America and Europe, as well as Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan.

A company spokesman said Tomohiro Okada production in Viet Nam, India and Pakistan, which has so far not been affected, it would likely be reduced due to lack of parts, although the details have yet to decide.

Similarly, Toyota Motor Corp said it previously projected as termination occurs through November 5 will continue through November 12, the cost of Japan’s top car 69,000 vehicles in lost production in Thailand, and 22,000 vehicles in Japan.

In North America, Toyota has extended cutting all overtime at factories until 12 November. Previous overtime had cut through November 7. Earlier in the week of the Honda cut production at factories in the United States and Canada at least half of the 10th of November.
